Nurrad

Clinical responsibility and AI acknowledgement

Your responsibility for the work you sign and the limits of AI and second opinions in the pilot.

Version v0.2.5

At a glance

  • The pilot uses synthetic studies. Its reports must not guide patient care.
  • You review and take responsibility for the evaluation reports you sign.
  • AI and colleagues' advice do not replace your own judgment.

1. The scope of your participation

You are evaluating Nurrad with synthetic images and synthetic study information. Do not upload real patient data or use a pilot report for diagnosis, treatment, referral or another patient-care decision. Signing an evaluation report does not make it suitable or authorised for clinical use.

Nurrad is not an emergency service. Do not rely on the platform, an AI response or a colleague's availability to manage an emergency.

2. What signing means

Before signing, review the images, findings and impression, including text you have added or accepted from another source. Signing records that you have reviewed and adopted the report as your own evaluation work.

You are responsible for that review and for the report you sign. Do not sign a report you have not reviewed or do not stand behind. A signed study is retained as a record and cannot be deleted through the pilot's Trash process.

3. AI is decision support

AI image interpretations, comparisons and suggested impressions can be incorrect, incomplete or misleading. Check them against the images and your own reasoning. Review and edit any suggested text before adopting it.

You write and lock your own findings before the applicable AI comparison. An AI image interpretation is shown after that step when the comparison identifies a material difference or when a comparison could not be completed. Other AI suggestions are also subject to your review.

A discrepancy alert does not determine the diagnosis or require you to accept the AI's view. You decide whether to amend your findings, and you may sign with an unresolved alert after your review.

If AI is slow or unavailable, you can continue reporting without it. AI availability or completion does not itself block signing. Other reporting and access requirements still apply.

4. Second opinions

A colleague's second opinion is professional advice for you to consider. Assess its relevance and limitations before using it. The radiologist signing the final report remains responsible for their own report.

A contributing colleague remains responsible for the advice they give. An invitation, online status or consultation request does not guarantee that a colleague will accept or respond within a particular time.

5. Your professional standing

You confirm that you are registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, hold a current annual practising licence and work within your competence. Provide accurate professional information and do not present another person's credentials as your own.

Stop using the pilot and tell support@nurrad.com promptly if your registration or licence lapses, is restricted or is suspended. Completing enrolment does not mean Nurrad has independently verified your professional standing.

6. Responsibilities remain with each party

This acknowledgement explains your responsibility for professional review and signed evaluation work. It does not remove Nurrad's own contractual, security or data-protection obligations, or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Read it alongside the Terms of service, Privacy policy and Data processing agreement. Contact support@nurrad.com if any part of the workflow or this acknowledgement is unclear.
